Malta my second biggest love

Anyone whose been will understand what i mean when i say this place just oozes friendship. never have i met such welcoming and open people. And of course the opportunities for photography are just overwhelming.

When i wake up in the grey and (usually) raining english morning, this is the routine......

Coffee first, the good stuff mind, none of this nescafe junk, no no, italian beans hand ground, and perculated to perfection, with one eye still shut to the day i shuffle over to my pc and switch her on. Immediately switch over to maltas valletta harbour webcam. It never fails to make me smile. No matter how many times i see that place i always seem to be craving to get back there, to my friends and the sunshine.

Light in the shade.

Its 7.45 am, Sunday January 25th 2009, and i'm tired. hehe. Once again ive been up all night editing photographs, something i adore. Its not really a job you see, but a love. Any of you little clickers out there will understand my sentiment. My father and I are tied forever more to the creation of art and the recording of moments passed. It is not a job. I warmly welcome visitors to this blog, and hope that you will all enjoy reading and viewing the memories we have to offer.

"to truly be an artist one must not only learn to practise with skill, but also to see with skill. "

theres beauty in the masses. I hope we all find it.
